Hi,

Ampps-2.3-setup.exe is not for upgrading Ampps.

upgrade to 2.3, all sited "database error"

The auto upgrader failed and the 'manual' upgrade I've read about (via AMPPS admin > Update AMPPS) said every thing was current at version 4.4.x.  I could not waste any more time trying more different repair attempts.

I backed-up everything (these are all WordPress installations so I was able to automate and package somewhat using a plugin) and blew away AMPPS 2.2 totally. Performed a new, virgin install of 2.3 ... which also produced errors when I recreated a new DB. Had to run mysql_upgrade and have had no errors since.

But I also have to restore 62 61 more data bases as I need them through the next week.  I forgot to backup one important db.  I have the db data files and the mysql data files, but the mysql version is different, so I understand that I won't be able to import or recreate the database.    I would be happy to know if this is not the case. It's been frustrating to try so many approaches and still end with a fair degree of failure in the upgrade path.

Thanks for your help along the way.

It is Softaculous auto-installer. Nothing related to Ampps.

Please open a ticket. We might be able to restore your database from backups.
